{"id":14634,"date":"2022-11-30T18:52:36","date_gmt":"2022-11-30T11:52:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/192.168.0.101\/abdiwaluyo-local.com?page_id=14634"},"modified":"2022-11-30T19:23:24","modified_gmt":"2022-11-30T12:23:24","slug":"visiting-a-patient","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/abdiwaluyo.com\/en\/patient-visitor-guide\/visiting-a-patient\/","title":{"rendered":"Visiting a Patient"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Visitor Guidelines During the Coronavirus Pandemic<\/h3>\n<p>To maintain a safe environment for patients and our hospital teams please adhere to the following guidelines.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Outpatients may have a companion accompany them to their appointments, however, we do encourage patients to attend alone.<\/li>\n<li>Inpatients may have visitors throughout the day, in addition to any companions. There should be a maximum of one visitor in your room at any time, and we encourage you to minimize the number of visitors you have during your stay.<\/li>\n<li>Children may continue to have one parent\/carer to stay with them.<\/li>\n<li>All visitors will be given a new facemask (provided by us) which must be worn for the duration of their visit.<\/li>\n<li>At present, we discourage children from visiting patients staying at the hospital.<\/li>\n<li>Visitors must not come into the hospital if they have any symptoms of coronavirus (Covid-19) or any other viral illness including respiratory and gastrointestinal viruses. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.abdiwaluyo.com\/health-info\/covid-19-what-do-we-have-to-know\/\">Guidance on Covid-19 symptoms are available here<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Inpatients who are isolating at the hospital because of coronavirus are not permitted to have visitors during their isolation period.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Visiting Abdi Waluyo Hospital<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Official visiting times are betwen 7AM to 10PM every day, however, mornings are frequently busy with patients receiving treatments. During Covid-19, visiting outside of these times is at the discretion of the nurse in charge.<\/li>\n<li>Intensive Care Unit visiting hours are 10AM to 11AM, and 6PM to 8pm daily.<\/li>\n<li>If you are visiting a child staying in our ward, you can visit any time up to 8 PM. Immediate family may stay with the child overnight.<\/li>\n<li>If you have any questions or special requests, please get in touch before your visit and we will do our best to accommodate it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Where do I go when I arrive at the hospital?<\/h3>\n<p>Please go to the main reception each time you would like to visit a patient \/ family member and ask for a visitor pass. These passes let you into the patient\u2019s ward for a certain amount of time.<\/p>\n<h3>How do I protect patients from outside germs?<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Anti-bacterial gel hand sanitizers are available throughout the hospital. Please wash your hands before and after contact with a patient to help us keep the hospital infection free.<\/li>\n<li>If you have a cough, cold, upset stomach or any other potentially infectious condition, please contact the ward before visiting.<\/li>\n<li>Please also avoid sitting on the patient\u2019s bed, there are comfortable chairs in the room, especially for visitors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Can I send a patient gifts and parcels?<\/h3>\n<p>Post is delivered to patients throughout the day. Please make sure all parcels are clearly labelled with the patient\u2019s name and our full address:<br \/>\nRS Abdi Waluyo<br \/>\nJl. HOS Cokroaminoto No. 31-33<br \/>\nMenteng, Jakarta Pusat (10350)<\/p>\n<h3>How can I be a considerate visitor?<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Please supervise children at all times.<\/li>\n<li>Please keep noise levels down in the wards and in communal areas \u2013 many patients will be resting and recovering<\/li>\n<li>Please do not bring in cooked food which needs storage or heating<\/li>\n<li>Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the hospital premises<\/li>\n<li>Snacks and gifts, such as fruit, sweets, and magazines are welcome on the wards<\/li>\n<li>Please do not bring flowers into intensive care, as they can spread infection<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Confidentiality<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>We know that you are worried about your loved one and may have some questions to ask us.<\/li>\n<li>Our patient\u2019s confidentiality is of the utmost importance to us; therefore before we tell you anything about a patient\u2019s condition or treatment, we will need to seek their permission first.<\/li>\n<li>If a friend or relative is having a procedure, the ward nurse will let you know when you can call for an update.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Visitor Guidelines During the Coronavirus Pandemic To maintain a safe environment for patients and our hospital teams please adhere to the following guidelines.
