We <strong>characterize the disease<\/strong>; we can <strong>determine its progress or stage.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>As we can precisely quantify the extent of the disease, we can design a more targeted treatment plan for you.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What do I need to know?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You will be asked to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Take off clothes and wear a hospital gown.<\/li>\n<li>Remove metal objects, such as a belt, jewelry, dentures, and eyeglasses, which could interfere with image results.<\/li>\n<li>You may be asked not to eat or drink for a few hours before your scan.<\/li>\n<li>Depending on what is examined, you may be instructed to consume a certain medication before the test, or injected a contrast dye intravenously.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>After the procedure, you can return to normal activities.
