Profile

dr. Sigit Pramono is the lead Obstetrics and Gynecology consultant at Abdi Waluyo Hospital, with over 30 years of experience in women’s health and infertility. He is a fully trained and qualified Obstetrician and Gynecologist in Australia, awarded FRANZCOG in 2005. His previous roles include serving as a Staff Specialist at Gold Coast Hospital and as the Head of the Dysplasia, Abnormal Pap Smear and Colposcopy Clinic at Robina Hospital, Queensland. He has also been a training supervisor for undergraduate and internship students at Griffith Medical School and for postgraduate trainees, as well as a Fellow in Subspecialist Infertility at Westmead Hospital, Sydney. dr Sigit is recognized for his compassionate approach, creating a supportive environment in which he believes every couple can realize their dreams of successful pregnancies.

As a pioneer in the non-invasive treatment of myoma and adenomyosis, Dr. Sigit Pramono has led Abdi Waluyo Hospital in being the first in Indonesia to implement the Focused Ultrasound Ablation (FUA) technique, commonly known as High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU), since 2023. He has successfully managed over 300 cases of myoma and adenomyosis, including several cases of spontaneous pregnancy. With a diverse range of cases handled, extensive experience and positive outcomes, dr. Sigit Pramono has been invited as a speaker at national and international conferences to share his expertise, significantly contributing to the advancement of women’s health care.
