Profile

Dr. Jeffri Aloys Gunawan, Sp.PD, CHt, FINASIM, FACP adalah anggota American College of Gastroenterology dan European Crohn’s and Colitis Organisation. Beliau adalah Fellow dari Indonesian Society of Internal Medicine dan American College of Physicians.

Beliau bertugas sebagai staf pengajar tim Gastroenterologi & Endoskopi di RSAW IBD Centre, Divisi Gastroenterologi, Departemen Ilmu Kedokteran, RS Abdi Waluyo, Jakarta, Indonesia. Sebelum penugasan saat ini, dr. Gunawan menjabat selama 4 tahun sebagai anggota staf Tim Gastroenterologi di bawah supervisi Prof. Dr. Marcellus Simadibrata, Sp.PD, Ph.D, KGEH, FACG, FASGE. Beliau menyelesaikan berbagai pelatihan, residensi, dan fellowship di bidang gastroenterologi dan endoskopi di University of Chicago Medicine, Thailand, Universitas Indonesia, dan Upcoming European IBD Centre (anggota ECCO).

dr. Gunawan adalah penulis beberapa buku edukasi di bidang kedokteran, gastroenterologi, dan berbagai literatur tentang Penyakit Radang Usus (IBD). Ia juga merupakan salah satu penulis buku teks Penyakit Refluks Gastroesofageal (GERD). Ia juga merupakan narahubung media unggulan untuk isu-isu terkait kedokteran dan masalah lambung, serta mengelola akun Instagram terverifikasi @drjeffaloys untuk tujuan edukasi. Minat penelitian utamanya meliputi diagnostik, terapi, epidemiologi, dan tren IBD di Asia, dispepsia, dan gangguan gastrointestinal lainnya.
