Professor Mailangkay is the ophtalmologist at Abdi Waluyo Hospital. As a Professor in the field of ophthalmology with more than 30 years of experience, he is well-known for having received many awards, even from the President of The Republic of Indonesia (the prestigious Satyalencana Karya Satya awards). Highly respected as one of the most senior ophthalmologists in the country, Prof. Mailangkay was invited to be a speaker in one of the World Health Organization events, in New Delhi, India in 2002.
